Free Entrance to the Landfill for Fargo Residents - October 13-20, 2018

Recycling items is encouraged and drop site locations are available around the Fargo area. Find a Recycling Drop Site near you.

* Residents must haul their household waste, including furniture, to the landfill.
* Appliances are limited to (2) - No appliances with Freon.
* Tries are limited to (4) passenger tires.
* Building materials (concrete, decking material, shingles, etc.) will NOT be accepted.
* Household Hazardous Waste (paint, stain, cleaners) as well as electronics can be brought to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 606 43 1/2 Street North, Fargo.

Landfill hours are Monday - Friday 7:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 7:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Landfill is located at 4501 7th Avenue North, Fargo.

Compost & Wood Chip Giveaway

Each spring there is one Saturday available for residents to pick up one free yard of compost and one free yard of wood chips. This year it will be held on Saturday, September 22 from 7:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The compost and wood chips are located west of the Household Hazardous Waste facility at 606 43 1/2 Street North, Fargo, ND 58102.
